Sweet Valentine’s Ombre
What better way to say “I love you” than with something just the two of you will know about, and just the two of you will experience?
For us, and given that we love nature and al fresco dining, we thought a romantic, intimate afternoon tea in a quiet corner was just the ticket!
The concept was very much to embrace natural fabrics, textures, colour and rich, Valentines inspired tones.
The palette was reds, plums, a hint of rose quartz complimented by rich metallics, greenery and the oh so wonderful (and very tasty) naked cake.
We loved creating the hand dyed ombre for our hand sewn napkins and table runner.
Selecting the fresh, inviting, sumptuous fruits was so organic!
Picking out metallic colours and unearthing glorious vessels to show case the tones so rewarding.
Finally, what better supporting pieces for such a rich tablescape than farmhouse table and chairs, rustic, charming and so in keeping with the cute backdrop.
We loved seeing all of the different aspects come together so beautifully and hope you like it too!
