2022 Terms and Conditions

Please find below our main Terms & Conditions.
Other factors such as set up times, placement/installation of rental items, movement of any pieces
during the event, additional support required from Weddings & Whimsy or event specifics will, as
always, be covered via normal communication between all parties as per the standard personal practice
of Weddings & Whimsy and our trusted partners/clients.

Payment Policy:

To secure both the date and rental items (and unless informed otherwise) a 30% non-refundable deposit
is required.
Once the deposit has been received Weddings & Whimsy will set aside the specific rentals for the event;
therefore, not allocating them to another event on the same date.
Additional rentals can be added to the original order after the deposit has been paid (subject to
The remaining balance should be settled no later than one day prior to the scheduled event date.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer to our Greek business account (details available upon request).
Please note that Weddings & Whimsy require receipt of the total deposit amount to their bank account,
with all bank charges being covered by the sender.
All our prices, as stated in the brochures are presented prior to VAT (at the current rate).

Specialist Pricing/Quotations for pieces not inside our collection:

Specialist Constructions/Bespoke Creations:
In these cases the prices quoted will be valid for three months from the initial offer date. After this
time, should a non-refundable deposit not be received, W&W reserve the right to re-quote in case of
material cost increases.
Materials/Product from Third Party Suppliers:
In these cases where Weddings & Whimsy are requested to order pieces/materials from third party
suppliers/providers we will issue pricing via email based on a) prices provided to us at the time, b)
available quantities at the time.
Once the order has been confirmed, W&W will re-check pricing and available quantities. Should either
have changed since the initial email communication, you will be informed.
For either of the cases above a non-refundable deposit will be required to book the pieces. The amount
or percentage of deposit may be different from our standard 30%; however, we will discuss this on a
case-by-case basis.

Delivery & Transportation Costs:

PLEASE contact us for delivery/transportation charges. These will depend on total order value, venue
access, number of journeys required to carry individual pieces, collection time (if after midnight) and
staff required. We will always do our best to keep these costs as low as possible.

General Terms of Hire:

  • Usual hire period for rental items is maximum 24 hours.
  • Unless agreed in advance, items are offered on a purely rental basis, therefore remain the property of Weddings & Whimsy so please do not remove them from the venue.

Postponement Policy:

This policy was introduced during 2021 in direct relation to COVID related travel restrictions/travel
bans/Government Directives for certain countries and applies ONLY to this.
In case of needing to postpone for any other reason, please contact us to discuss.
Weddings & Whimsy will strive to accommodate the need to postpone a pre-booked or 2022 event (for
reasons as detailed above ONLY); transferring the pre-paid 30% non-refundable deposit to a new 2022
or 2023 date (subject to availability of both date and requested rental pieces).

Force Majeure:

  • Weddings & Whimsy cannot be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of their
    obligations under this Agreement if such performance is delayed or hindered by the occurrence
    of an unforeseeable act or event which is beyond their reasonable control (“Force Majeure
  • Force Majeure Events shall include, but are not limited to Acts of God, natural disasters,
    extreme weather conditions, strikes, earthquakes, plagues, pandemics, epidemics,
    government intervention, directives or policies or other situations beyond Weddings &
    Whimsy’s control.
